My over-the-counter medications will help treat it; your primary care physician will have other options for you, and if you're still suffering, an evaluation by an allergist will be even more helpful.
The closest thing we have to a cure is allergy desensitization injections given by a board-certified allergist. This works far better than meds, and may work so well that medications aren't needed.
