My baby is 16 months old and doesn't talk yet. No "mama". No "dada". No anything. Should I be concerned?

Speech Delay. Yes, you should be concerned. We expect that by 9 months babies are saying the "hard syllables" i.e. Mama, dada, baba... By 15 months they should know mama, dada (as nouns/names), no, bye-bye etc. Bring this up with your pediatrician so appropriate assessments and referrals can be made. The earlier an intervention is made the better the results.
