In brief: Possibly

Penile cancers are strongly associated with hpv infection (meaning most men with penile cancer have hpv).
It is important to note that most men with hpv do not, however, go on to develop penile cancer, and men with penile cancer are typically much older than 21 years of age. If you have concerns, please see your doc or visit a clinic and undergo a physical exam to learn exactly what you do have.

In brief: No

There are many different strains of the virus that cause genital warts and cancer.
The human papillomavirus (hpv). The strains that cause genital warts are different from the types that can cause cancer. But if you have been exposed to one strain of the virus it is common to have been exposed to others as well.
