I agree. Plaquenil and methotrexate helps joint pain, stiffness, and fatigue. The combination is also safe long term. This is important as the treatment will help prevent future joint damage and disability. Prednisone on the other hand, is not a great long term treatment because of its potential side effects including infections and osteoporosis.
