If I am two weeks into birth control and have had unprotected sex, should I take the morning after pill? What would it do for me?

In brief: Wouldn't hurt

It depends when you started your birth control pills.
If you started birth control for the 1st time ever 2 weeks ago and you started the 3-5th day of your period, then you probably don't need to use the morning after. If you have been on the pill for many cycles, then definitely no need otherwise, it wouldn't hurt to take the morning after pill. Actually it never hurts. It might just be overkill.
