In brief: You should

See your doctor and get an accurate diagnosis.
If, in fact, you are having migraines, there are better medications available for you.

In brief: Try this

Really, the best otc medicine for migraines is.
..A motion sickness medicine! like dramamine, (dimenhydrinate) bonine, marezine, or gravol. We use this type of drug intravenously in the ed with great results. Hydrocodone syrup is made for cough, not pain, and it does actually cause headaches in some people. If this is the worst headache of your life, your neck is stiff or you have fever, go to hospital.
