Most of the time yeas , excess CSF fluid shows up as hydrocephalus in ct/mri.
The ventricles enlarge in size which we call it hydrocephalus .There are 2 types of this: communicating and non communicating hydrocephalus. They usually need vp shunt depends on the pathology....
