Neurology

In brief: ? Neuralgia

Occipital neuralgia occurs when the occipital nerve is irritated.
The pain occurs in the back of the head and can sometimes be felt behind the eye. Look at your posture and sleep position. Are you doing anything to cause strain to the neck? If the proper muscles are not used to support the head due to poor posture the nerves/muscles will let you know! . Occipital nerve block(s) may help.
