In brief: NF II

Neurofibromatosis type 2 can have peripheral fibromas, but i would more likely expect a musculo-skeletal injury or nerve compression injury during cycling.
For your nf, an annual evaluation is warranted. For the numbness of your knee, i would evaluate any compression at the hip.
