In brief: Avoid polluted air!

Get out of the polluted air. If you are having continued pulmonary sx, and you did not say you were, see a physician.
But avoid the polluted air. Do you live in la? Then it may be impossible!

In brief: Avoidance

To recover from air pollution, the best treatment is remove yourself from the offending pollutants.
Depending on the severity, you may need otc antihistamines but more severe cases may need asthma inhalers to open up the air ways as well as inhaled or maybe even oral steroids to stop the inflammation. If you are having difficulty breathing, coughing, shortness of breath, please see your doc.
