I'll assume u mean inhaled meconium that caused respiratory pbs.
The effect is variable.Even small amts in the lung can cause a chemical pneumonia that interferes with breathing. After the pneumonia improves under rx, there can be tissue scarring from the stress, the meconium is eventually broken down & removed by the healing process.The lung injury will gradually improve, some probs may remain.
