My husband is very tall and manly and is upset that our boy is not. Is it possible that he could be having a late puberty?

In brief: What a shame

Your boy is a boy.
How can a boy be "manly" if he hasn't gone through puberty? The positive aspect of delayed puberty is that your son is still growing and will continue to grow until after puberty. Your husband needs to accept that his son will be whatever he grows up to be, be that small and thin, geeky or a jock, straight or gay. He will always be your son. Hope your husband will accept that.
