In brief: No

as long as you continue to do a good job brushing and flossing and getting regular cleanings every 6 months.

In brief: Braces/stain

Braces of and by themselves do not harm teeth.
Bacteria harms teeth. Keep teeth immaculately clean, especially between braces and gum line. Don't cheat and eat foods that can damage the protective seal between the brace and the tooth. Ask your Orthodontic Specialist for specific instructions to prevent staining. See General Dentist at least 2x/year for professional cleaning. Enjoy new smile.

In brief: Ceramic braces

Ceramic braces do not in and of themselves cause stain on teeth.
However, if you do not watch what you eat and do not keep them routinely clean, may result in stain and\or decalcification around any type of brackets or bands.

In brief: Stains?

Ceramic brackets "do not cause stains".
However, some of the elastic ties that hold the wire into the bracket can stain. They are normally changed every 4 weeks. If you do not brush properly, then no different than metal brackets, stains can happen. Also, stay away from carbinated beverages which can lead to permanent white spots on the teeth (decalcifications).
