What are the symtomes of inguinal hernia?

Bulge, pain. If you have a bulge in the groin that goes away when you lie down, that's almost certainly a hernia. They can be more subtle, though, and cause mainly pain on exertion, when you cough or sneeze, or move a certain way. If there's any doubt, see your doctor; inguinal hernias should usually be repaired by a surgeon.
