See your doctor. Bv is highly treatable with certain prescription antibiotics. There is not much to do over the counter.
See your gyn. U need cultures and antibiotics.
Clindamycin. Clindamycin vaginal cream or oral capsules x 10 days.
Not likely. Flagyl is the medication of choice due to very good coverage of anaerobes. Ofloxacine does not cover anaerobes as well as Flagyl does.
Bacterial vaginosis. Avoid Douching!!! Bacterial vaginosis is treated with metronidazole or clindamycin.
Antibiotics. Bv can be treated by either the oral version of a drug called Metronidazole or there is a vaginal suppository version of this same medication. One caution with this medication is that it cannot be mixed with alcohol or it can cause severe nausea and vomiting.
