Can toddlers with panayiotopoulis syndrome have normal interictal eegs?

In brief: Yes

As with many tests, between episodes the testing can appear normal, but the seizures may still return.
Eegs are often normal between seizures, but several things can be done to increase the likelihood of seeing a seizure, such as sleep deprivation before the test. Sometimes kids will be admitted for 24 hour monitoring to try to catch the abnormalities.

Just an aside: is this question for real? A worried parent would not often phrase the question like this.
