In brief: Get checked

I am not sure of your injury type.
Most wrist fractures heal fine. However, there is a particular fracture called the navicular bone that can have permanent damage if not treated appropriately. Get checked, it is too easy and needs done.

In brief: See physician

If your wrist hurts, and is swollen after trauma, get it looked at and xrayed.
There are many fractures that need treatment to have the best result. I do not recommend benign neglect.
