In brief: Yes and yes

Loose teeth can be lost unless stabilized.
Orthodontics will straighten and help secure crooked teeth. First see your dentist to make sure teeth and supporting tissues are healthy. If indicated, your dentist will refer you to an orthodontist for evaluation. The general dentist and the orthodontist, working hand in hand, will provide you with the best rx.

In brief: Examination needed

First, how did the tooth get loose? Trauma? See a dentist about your concerns.
Your dentist will find out why your tooth is loose and will refer you to an orthodontist to straighten your teeth.

In brief: Two issues here

At 18 years of age, it's unlikely you will lose your front tooth, but is it possible? Yes.
How loose an from what is important to determine and that can only be done by seeing a dentist. For the future, do not wait when anything is unusual regarding any dental or medical problems. Things only get worse over time. Braces can straighten teeth but not correct other dental problems.

In brief: Two front teeth

Braces can correct crooked teeth.
But if you think that a tooth is loose you should first see your dentist about that before considering braces.
