A few months ago, I started feeling off balance, dizzy almost. Had an MRI without contrast & mra done, found I had a small lesion, is this the cause?

In brief: Maybe

Some lesions or tumors found on MRI can cause dizziness.
In your case it would depend on what kind of lesion was found and where it was located.

In brief: Possibly

However, without knowing what it looks like, it is impossible to tell.
It is likely an incidental finding, but you should speak to your physician about it.
