Can you get pregnant after uterine ablation. Still have a regular period after procedure though much lighter than before.?

Ablation is not birth control and the fact that you are having periods probably means you are ovulating.
Ablation is only used to control bleeding. Pregnancy after ablation is very dangerous and a very reliable form of contraception needs to be used.

Endometrial ablation does not reliably prevent pregnancy.
Reliable contraception, usually sterilization is required. Your gynecologist should discuss this with you. Any pregnancy that occurs after an ablation is very high risk. Consider tubal ligation or a vasectomy.
