Go away dark spots. Hyperpigmentation may be caused by chronic inflammation. I al ways imagine that any time there is inflamm, the melanocytes (pigment cells) flock to the area thinking there is a party going on and just dont leave. I like rx hydroquinone and retinoids plus sunscreen. Sunscreen and hats are the most important thing. I love obagi nuderm for this and there are botanicals too but don't work as well.
Difficult! It is very difficult to get rid of this problem. Where is y our hyperpigmentation? I can only answer on the face... Is your hyperpigmentation from diabetes? So far, hydroquinone is the only FDA approved medical treatment as far as I know. I hope this helps.
Topical treatment. Topical treatment using hydroquinone is the easiest but laser or IPL is often needed. Both take some time; ie nothing will get rid of it instantly.
You can try. Hydroquinone but laser or IPL is often needed. It takes some time to get rid of it. See a skin doctor for the treatment If you want to shoot me an e-mail click --> https://www. Healthtap. Com/experts/12714048-dr-vahe-yetimyan.
How to get rid of hyperpigmentation on my inner thighs? I just lost a lot of weight and my dark inner thighs are embarrassing
Already did. Congratulations on loosing weight! The friction between the thighs is likely the cause of the hyper pigmentation. Since you lost weight the friction is reduced and the color should start lightening naturally. Make sure any treatment is adequate for you natural skin color.
After pregnancy. Bleaching creams or laser surgery your obgyn can prob rec some or see a derm or plastic surgeon.
Do your skin peel with a light chemical peel? I'm trying to get rid of hyperpigmentation but only want a light peel. I'm African American
Yes it does. Yes it peels and that is why it is called peel. The chemicals used cause peeling of superficial skin layer. I don't know why you want to go through peel I suggest you consult a Dermatologist for your skin condition as there are other modalities available like Lasers and some creams which may be better option for your skin problem. We don't know how old you are&skin condi.
Fade cream. Fade cream is used to fade hyperpigmented areas but should be applied only on the area. If that does not work consider seeing a dermatologist.
How do I get rid of hyperpigmentation? Would Retin-A cream help? I'm using an OTC bleaching cream that contains 2% hydroquinone but it's not helping.
Depends on the cause. Retin A (tretinoin) will definitely not help & irritate your skin more. If it's from shadows under your eyes & due to sub clinical food allergies, neither will help. Address the cause to reduce the lymphatic congestion. If area is red/brown pigmented, laser can help. If it's from recent scar, you must wait for it to heal. Solaquin Forte 2% won't help, and can hypopigment surrounding skin. (Best 2 see skin Dr.)
