After sex 8 weeks ago I took the morning after pill 48 hours later. I've had 2 periods and a negative pregnancy test I have breast pain could I be preg?

Unlikely. If you had two periods after sex and the test was negative at more than three weeks after sex, you are not pregnant. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time, You may consider implanted contraceptive. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine. Read more...

Could the morning after pill (levonelle) be causing breast tenderness 8 weeks after taking it. Negative pregnancy test and 3 irregular periods since?

No. The levonelle is out of your system at this point but your own hormones can cause breast tenderness. If you are having irregular periods that is a sign that your hormones are out of balance and it would be a good idea to see someone to find out why. If also could be due to a more reliable method of contraception that you are hopefully using now. Hope this is helpful. Best wishes. Read more...

Last period 28-29 April. Unprotected sex with hubby just when finished. Miss period now (2-3 late). Negative home pregnancy test. Sore breasts.?

Re do test. You may wish to re do the test in 3-4 days if you do not get a period by then. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. Emergency contraception is 95% effective if taken within 24 hours after unprotected sex but it does disrupt the normal menstrual cycle and causes irregular bleeding so no one cansay when your next period will start just that you shouldn't expect it to be normal. Now is the time to get in and discuss starting a more reliable method of contraception to prevent these worries. Hope this helps. Be safe. Read more...
