In brief: Panic attacks stop

It is not typical for panic attacks to stop suddenly after stopping a medication that was controlling them. Have you learned some coping strategies for controlling anxiety and panic attacks? If not, now would be a good time to learn some.
Consider seeing a cognitive-behavior therapist.

In brief: Can solve itself

Panic attacks are a *symptom* of underlying emotional issues, not a disease in its own right.
Medications can manage symptoms but do not treat the cause. If the underlying emotional issues resolve, the symptom can go away on its own. Otherwise, psychotherapy can help you understand and address the causes of anxiety. Medication alone is not optimal treatment for any form of anxiety.
