In brief: Not high 1-3%
Approximately 1 to 3 percent of affected men have a family member with the disease.
Majority would be associated with some other factors- like undescended testes, infertility/subfertility, HIV infection, hypospadias, other condition like klinefelter's etc.

In brief: CA father and son
Testicular cancer is the most common in our young men.
It has associations with a number of things: undescended testis, hernia repair prior to age 15, injury to testis, stds, aids, and a family history. The sons and brothers of men who have had testicular cancer are more likely to develop testicular cancer. But only about 3% of patients have a family history.

and the embryonal/yolk sac, teratomatous tend to be the young, seminoma, particularly spermatocytic, tends to be older age. Regardless, not common, not causal, associated by unknown mechanism
