Help please! My knee is catching and popping after knee surgery?

Kneecap tracking. It may be related to quad muscle shutdown, following surgery, which can alter the tracking of your kneecap, and give you the "popping" that you're feeling. Check with your surgeon to see if that's the case. If so, it should get better with physical therapy.

If painful and fair amount of time since surgery repeat MRI may be warranted to ensure no meniscal or cartilage tearing to explain continued symptoms. Read more...
