In brief: Eye twitch headache

Eyelid twitching is very common, and often occurs from stress, fatigue, lack of sleep, and use of stimulants such as caffeine and decongestants.
Eye irritation can also add to this, such as dry eye, allergy, and blepharitis (eyelid infection, inflammation). Eyestrain and reading, computer use, close visual work can contribute and also cause an aching around the eyes. Reducing these may help.

In brief: Headaches

And eye twitching are often not associated with any eye problems.
They could be due to fatigue, stress, or often no specific cause at all. If you didn't see an ophthalmologist for an eye evaluation, then this is a good idea. If eye twitching gets really bad, this can be treated with Botox injections.
