I had my ear irrigated, then the ear canal became itchy, then I got a middle ear infection, now the infection has gone its itchy again? What will help

Tincture of time. And try not to submit to scratching the itch too much. This is likely self limited. Ask your doctor if there is some type of moisturizing or anti-itch cream you could put on (very small amounts) but i would not recommend applying it with anything like a q-tip or anything. Remember, nothing should go in your ear except your elbow! lol! hear! hear!

I am just recovering from a middle ear infection, no pain or yellow substance from my ear anymore but now im getting tinnitus, is this likely to go?

Hard to say. Tinnitus is thought to be the result of increased synchronous (neural) discharge from neural pathways of the auditory nervous system in the brain. There is evidence that a middle ear infection, even though it has resolved, could have penetrated into the inner ear to cause some injury to the hair cells of the cochlea. Predicting the outcome of tinnitus is very difficult. See an otologist. Read more...

I ruptured my ear drum 1 week ago due to a middle ear infection. Hard to hear/ringing/full feeling. Today it has started to pop when I swallow. Good?

Yes. Popping indicates that the perforation has sealed and the eustacian tube is now functioning, allowing air into the middle ear to replace the infected fluid. You are on the way to recovery. Read more...
Maybe . You want to follow up with your doctor / ENT specialist, to see if the drum healed already, meanwhile keep that side clean and put a cotton plug in that ear, avoid any fluid getting inside, no swimming for now. Best wishes. Read more...

I currently have some kind of outer ear infection. All my jaw and my ear bones are very painful. Also inflamated ear canal. I took ibuprohene but not helpful. Was wondering if 1mg dilaudid for pain and cyprofloxacin or corticosteroid drop would help?

Hard to say. It is clear you have made some assumptions about what is going on. Without a proper exam, it is hard to consider using a prescription at all, much less a controlled drug that might hide important symptoms. Drops only work in some ear conditions, not most. It is time to go to urgent care and have someone find out what is going on. Read more...
