In brief: Sparingly....

There are so many different types of nyquil.
Some have decongestants, other forms of nyquil do not. Either way, I do not feel you would have a problem if afrin (oxymetazoline) used sparingly.

But Afrin should not be used for more than 4-5 days else you may end up worse off.
