My foot hurts when I move it upward n inward. My ankle is not bruised or swollen but it hurts a lot.

Tendinitis. There are several major tendons in that area of the ankle. You could have strained them. You can apply ice to the area, for 20 minutes at a time, 3-4 times per day. Also, you can take an over the counter anti-inflammatory medication.
Sounds Like. Tendonitis and could be from overuse if you pronate a lot. See podiatist.
