In brief: Non-proven therapy

Vitamin therapy for luteal phase defect is unproven; i know of no convincing evidence that it has nay impact on lpd at all.
Therefore, there's no recommendation for 'how much' to take. You might be aware that experts do not even agree on the impact of lpd and whether it needs to be treated at all.

In medicine there are rarely 'facts,' just evidence. There's room for opinions, but opinions are neither facts nor evidence. I suggest you read http://sart.org/awards/detail.aspx?id=12650 and notice "No diagnostic test for luteal phase insufficiency has been proven reliable", and "no treatment ... has been shown to improve pregnancy outcomes in natural unstimulated cycles."
