Weird ? After my hysterectomy I was told my ovary that was left is now in my abdominal cavity and not in pelvic cavity. Could that be a problem later

Ovaries are suspended in the abdominal cavity after hysterctomy-this procedure is called 'ovariopexy".
This is done to prevent discomfort with intercourse after hysterectomy.It will function just as well in the abdomen as its original location.I do not see this causing any problems later in life.
