I am having serious depression problems after a year free of them. My drug regimen has been adjusted during that period, but now, bleh. Ideas?

In brief: Depression
It is not unusual to have recurrence of depression, like in your case.
You need to see your psychiatrist and be treated again with meds and therapy.

Also, sometimes an antidepressant will stop working. Sometimes the fix for that is to lower the dose for a short period, then resume. But you need to have your doctor supervise that process

Do consider the use of 2 meds., MAO inhibitor, adding helpers such as lithium(cheap) small amount of novel anti-psychotic (moderate$), Abilify (aripiprazole) (exp.). A high % of people with your profile have truly been heaped by magnetic stim. 2nd opine. & a wee shock tx.

And for SSRI "poop out" (the medical term is 'tachyphylaxis' and it occurs with many medications), often the fix is to LOWER the dose for a couple of weeks, then resume (under the supervision of a doctor, of course
