I feel like I might be having braxton hicks contractions. I am approximately 24 weeks pregnant, and they are mostly on my right side. Normal?

Could certainly be. Any time after 20 weeks the bhc's can begin. I've read that as early as 6 weeks they can start. But you need to get on top of them to distinguish them from other vague abdominal complaints. Have you had these pains before in your preqnancy? I believe a call to your ob/gyn is in order just to clarify.
