Diagnosed with a bakers cyst. Advised to rest leg, swelling and pain still no better. Now my ankle hurt & is also swollen. Ddimer ruled out dvt.?

A negative . D-dimer usually indicated no clot is present assuming the clot has fully formed and begun to break down. It is possible your bakers cyst ruptured....This could cause leakage of synovial fluid, swelling and pain. I'd follow up with my orthopedist.
Baker`s cyst. Baker`s cyst will not cause swelling in the leg. The cause of ankle swelling is probably venous insufficiency which is diagnosed with doppler and ultrasound studies. Baker`s cyst discomfort might persist, in which ace you might consider surgery.
