Is there hope of getting pregnant if we haven't conceived with in three years of trying? We have both been tested and have unexplained infertility.

In brief: There's always hope

There is always hope.
We used to say 15-20% of infertility was 'unexplained' (regular cycles, open tubes, good sperm) - with modern testing it's under 1%. Ovarian reserve testing (ultrasound for ovarian volumes and antral follicle count, amh, Clomid (clomiphene) challenge test) 'explains' a lot but there are other possible factors. See board-certified reproductive endocrinologist for workup & treatment options.

In brief: Yes but

I find that many couples told they have "unexplained" infertility had a test missed or overlooked.
I've seen this more times than not. See a board certified reproductive endocrinologist for testing. If you already have, get a second opinion. Good luck!

In brief: Yes

You still have a very good chance of conceiving.
Pregnancy rates with unexplained infertility is very encouraging. Super ovulation with intrauterine insemination, laparoscopy, and in vitro fertilization with embryo transfer have been very successful in treating this type of infertility. Adding acupuncture seems to improve the pregnancy rates also.
