In brief: No bad ones
Any activity that encourages the child to move, use his/her imagination and laugh is beneficial to his/her health.
Exercise has been approved by the aap as adjunct therapy for adhd.Get a proper assessment by a knowledgeable professional, provide proper guidance, discuss meds and other options with your doctor.Avoid fads and unsupported treatments that could possibly delay or worsen outcome.

Pediatrics - Developmental & Behavioral
In brief: Ones in which the
Child can succeed ! if adhd symptoms are well-controlled by multi-modal treatment (medications, behavioral therapy & environmental manipulations), team sports may be fine.
For a child with deficits in motor planning ( an executive function) or proprioceptive/kinesthetic sense ("body space"), individual sports - swimming, gymnastics, martial arts - help body awareness & allow 1-on-1 instruction.

Preventive Medicine
In brief: Anything
I know, from personal experience of seeing hundreds of these kids, that adhd and other similar diagnostic categories are only like "variations on a syhmphonic theme" where biochemical changes in brain are induced by bad diet.
Straighen out the diet before you think of exercise. Get rid of all "junk" to include all forms of sugar and even milk and commercial juice!
