In brief: See a Dr.

It is better to see a dr. And get the throat swabbed to determine what kind of bacteria or other infection, if at all, you are suffering.
To take the antibiotic may do nothing, help or mask what you really have. Don't take chances.

In brief: Sore Throats

Sore throats that last more than a few days or are accompanied by a fever are best handled by seeing your physician to determine if you have a common cold, other virus or a bacterial infection that would require antibiotics.
It is always better to be safe than sorry. Wouldn't it be nice if we could diagnose and treat you over the internet? Sorry...

In brief: Eval needed

It is impossible to tell what is going on without seeing you and doing an exam. The only way for you to find out what the answer is is to see your doctor and have an exam. If this doesn't heal in a few days see your doctor.

In brief: Lots

Lots of possibilities, lots of solutions.
But you will have to be examined to determine 1) what's wrong, and 2) what's the best treatment for your specific problem. Please call your physician for an appointment.
