In brief: Constipation

The release of Progesterone that occurs after your egg retrieval can be pretty dramatic, slow your bowels, and cause constipation.
However 8 days following an embryo transfer, i would not expect constipation to have an effect on your embryos. Your embryos should be secure in the uterus at this point and you should be worrying more about your clogged poops. Take a laxative and stool softeners.
