Can I take 5htp with birth control pills?

Likely yes. As far as i understand five htp is a supplement which acts on your brain as appetite suppressant , antidepressant , sleep aid. Given that it acts neurologically, i don't suspect any effect on birth control pills but it had not been well studied together.

Some were made to be taken one a day for every day of the month starting with the first day of the period. If you already phlebitis (there are 2 kinds-superficial and deep) then I do not think that it is a good idea to continue with birth control pills.
