Last night my left leg from my knee down to my ankle on the front of my leg was numb and tingling. I woke up this morning and no change.

In brief: Nerve injury

This may have been due to injury to a nerve in your leg.
In particular, a nerve on the outside of the knee that winds around the head of the fibula and supplies areas of the leg, ankle and foot. Things for consideration include: if there is swelling, pain or redness in your leg, especially in the calve area. These symptoms would be more serious.
