My gums bleed every time I brush, what causes bleeding gums and what can I do?

Visit a dentist. Red, bleeding and swollen gums can be a sign that you are at risk for, or already have, advanced gum disease. Untreated gingivitis can lead to the tooth loss and other health problems. See your dentist ASAP because the sooner you treat it the better the outcome.
Infection. Bleeding on bruising indicates gum disease. Please call your dentist for evaluation and ask if referral to a periodontist (gum specialist) is in order. Periodontist will rule out systemic causes (such as diabetes), and return your gums/bone/supporting tissues to a state of optimum health. You need professional care...Please schedule it.
