In brief: Is it really a node?

One question i would have at this point is if it really was an enlarged lymph node versus something else.
Depending on its location, vascular malformations nonmalignant sarcomas (just to name two) could be possibilities. Depending on how large it is, and if it is growing with the baby or is it staying the same size or shrinking, i may think about imaging it with something like ultrasound.

In brief: Maybe

Has this been seen by the pediatrician? Cannot give helpful info without knowing more about the lymph node, age of baby, how it first arose, etc.
Need help before could help you more.
