Is a papoose board useful when stitching a child's cut?

In brief: Occasionally

The papoose board is sometimes helpful in restraining a wiggly infant for a procedure such as stitches.
Utility is limited by location of the cut , size of the child & preference. I often use bed sheets in a cocoon wrap to do the same thing.
