My toddler burned himself on a curling iron. Do I need to put neosporin and a bandage over it?

In brief: BURN

You can apply neosporin if burn is infected and bandage it.
If not healing, consult your md.

It depends on the degree of burn and the body part which is involved. If is 1st or 2nd degree burn and the area is small then you can treat with antibiotic cream or silvadene cream,if more then that see your docror or go to ER.The infection will not show in a recent burn and you want to prevent infection,by using silvadene cream
