My 5 months baby have hb e beta thalassemia. Her doctor prescribed her for vitamin e. Is it helpful? Pls advice.

In brief: No.

Hb e and beta thalassemia are both inherited from parents.
It causes moderate anemia, but most children with this condition seem to be able to cope with anemia well, and continue normal activities. Some of them, however, does need blood transfusions periodically. One vitamin he should be on later on would be folic acid. Since your baby is only 5 months old, you can wait till he is one yea old.
