In brief: Preferably none

Sugar is not a necessary component of anyone's diet, so ideally, a child should be getting no sugar during the day.
But, we all enjoy treats every now and then, so just keep sugar intake to a minimum.

In brief: NONE

You need material like vitamins, carbohydrates, proteins and fats to survive.
The human system can make all the sugar it needs from other food sources,so no added sugar is required. There is concern that sweeteners like sugar, pre-program the babies brain to crave it, leading to excessive intake later in life. It would be difficult to avoid all sugar, but avoiding added sugar is preferred
