At what age can a baby go into a pool containing chlorine?

2 to 3 months. A healthy 2 to 3 month old baby can go in a warm chlorinated pool briefly while held in his/her mom's arms. Don't let him/her drink the water. Shade only please. No sunburn. Private pool only - no public baby pools! germs! don't stay too long as they will get cold. An older infant around 6 months can stay in a bit longer and play. Small infants get cold very quickly. No danger from chlorine.
