In brief: ? lacrimal sac

7 to 10 days is usually sufficient to eradicated an acute bacterial sinusitis, if, indeed the cause is bacterial.
The presence of an inflamed sac could be the lacrimal sac. If that is true, you may need an ENT doctor or an eye physician. A true diagnosis of a bacterial infection can only be diagnoses with a culture.
