Which is a better choice: a plate of baby carrots steamed or 1/4 of an iceberg lettuce?

In brief: Depends on goal
These are both vegetables.
The steamed carrots have higher nutritional content and assuming you eat the lettuce without dressing, there are more calories in the carrots. The lettuce has a higher fiber content although that depends upon the size of the carrot plate. Is your goal to lose weight? Regularize your GI tract? Or what? And what is your age?
