In brief: See a specialist
No matter where you live, it seems you need to increase (or start) a daily control medication.
For "out of control asthma", an allergist or pulmonologist is the appropriate specialist.

You need to take proper meds wherever you live.Asthma is an inflammatory condition and you need to use controller inhalants which contain steroids and combination with bronchdilators and some time add singular daily. In acute flere ups short course of oral steroids may be needed, avoid triggers, like cigarette smoke, pollutants and if you have allergies to house dust or molds etc.See an allergist .

Take the Asthma Control Test (ACT) developed by lung specialists. You can find it online. Take the results to your consultation with the pulmonologist.

In brief: Seek expert help
Even with big city pollution most asthmatics can be controlled with currently available medications.
You need to see a well qualified allergy specialist or other asthma specialist who can evaluate your asthma, identify and treat other aggravating conditions (acid reflux, allergies, sinusitis, etc.), treat with appropriate medications (usually multiple meds required).
